Our league is scheduled to start on Thursday 8th May 2008. The fixtures will be issued after our meeting on 17th April 2008. This website is for our pool players and for visitors alike. Any input or feedback is appreciated so if you wish to see anything on here that is not here at present then click on the contact us page and let me know! As discussed at our Friendly Vs. Billet Busters on Thursday I would like to confirm the following, for the Summer Season (some points I have just thought of!): Alex Winter will be the Vice Captain Me and Alex are both away on 8/5/08, so Dan Murphy will be captain for the evening, with the assistance of Steve Unwin If you play in the league to the world rules you should know them enough to referee games. Therefore there is no more excuses and when you play, if is our turn to ref next, then you will referee!!! Subs will continue to be taken in the Summer Season. Welcome to Alex Thompson, Nick Smith and Nicky Vince - the newest member of our team Voulenteers will be needed at home games to organise the football card to pay for the food. Players should note when they are playing and be close by when it is their turn to play. Therefore before you go out for a fag check the sheet!! Important!! As you will know, since the last League AGM where I was voted in on the league committee, I have been involved in the league and giving my and our opinion on how things should be going forward. Obviously for us this gives us a head-start in organisation and gives us the chance to put feedback straight into the heart of the league. My input so far has only been advisory and had no bearing on match nights as commitee meetings are held on a Wednesday. As of Summer Season coming up, I will be the Divisional League Secretary for one of the three leagues. Therefore, and especially at the start of the season, I may be involved in phone calls to other teams and receiving results at the end of the evening. With this in mind I will need everyones help in doing more and keeping the events running as smoothly as possible.

Pool players wanted for our continually improving team! We need RELIABLE players willing to play every Thursday, to home and away games. We either have transport available or the team pay for any mini-cabs to and from away venue from The Beehive. If you are interested please e-mail tonyfrost@beehivepool.co.uk or ask in the pub. New equipment and cabs etc are paid for out of subs taken each week of about £2 per player.
